Pastor Bob grew up in northeastern PA, where he met his High School sweetheart and loving wife, Carey.   He holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology and is a graduate of the Methodist Theological School of Ohio, having received a Master’s of Divinity and a Master’s in Christian Education.  Having served over 10yrs in United Methodist ministry, Pastor Bob comes to us with a proven track record of revitalizing ministries and empowering churches for the glory of God.  He has worked extensively in developing both children and youth ministry programs for churches, as well as serving in gang ministry, small group ministries, family discipline modeling, crisis intervention and as a spiritual disciplines coach.  This year, Pastor Bob will be graduating from the New Church Start Academy, which is a prestigious 2-yr institute funded by the East Ohio Annual Conference to build new generations of leaders specializing in congregational development and church planting technique. 

The Mitchells have 4 kiddos:  Noah, Jonah, Chloe and Magdalene. 

Cyndi has been our Secretary for over 8 years. She was born and raised outside of Nevada, Ohio and attended Wynford High School. She was a Property Manager for subsidized housing under the H.U.D. Section 8 program in Bucyrus for 10 years. After moving to Loudonville in 1991, Cyndi worked at the Mohican State Park Resort and Conference Center in Sales, Mohican Bowling Center, Wally World Resort, and finally found her "home" here at LUMC. 

She is married to Joe Janeczek, who is a Design Engineer at Amerascrew in Mansfield. Cyndi's hobbies include scrapbooking and rubber stamping while Joe loves to bowl and play golf. Together they have 6 children and 11 grandchildren.
